Three CiminoCare teams Walked to End Alzheimer’s In San Francisco, Sacramento, and Stockton
CminoCare helped raise funds that will truly make a difference in the lives of those with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia
At this year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s, the CiminoCare staff set up teams at the September 17th walk in San Francisco, the October 1st walk in Sacramento, and the October 15th walk in Stockton. We had members of our team and members of our community present at all three walks that supported the Alzheimer’s Association and its mission to raise money to help fight against Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
At this year’s walks, our teams raised funds that will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association! We hope that our contributions will help the Alzheimer’s Association reach their goal of advancing Alzheimer’s support, care, and research through donations such as ours.
Being able to participate in walks such as these, and truly feel as though we made a difference in the lives of those with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia is what propels our team at CiminoCare to continue to integrate ourselves within our respective communities and really get out there and help make a difference!
From giving out dog handkerchiefs to dog owners, to giving out fans to cool off during the hot day, to having conversations with many of the participants with regard to how Alzheimer’s has affected them, being a part of a team that works together so cohesively in an effort to contribute to an organization that strives to make positive advancements in Alzheimer’s-related research, and works together to accomplish the same end goals is something that truly bonds our team even closer. CiminoCare is lucky to be a part of such an important series of walks and has been participating in and supporting the Walk to End Alzheimer’s for over 15 years, and just like with every year’s end of walk season, we find ourselves planning the strategy we will implement in an effort to raise even more contributable donations during the next year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s!
