CiminoCare Wall of Fame: Sandra Ramos

CiminoCare Wall of Fame: Sandra Ramos

Family is the most important thing, and when your work becomes like family, it feels like home”

– Sandra Ramos

Sandra Ramos is celebrating 25 years as a valued team member at CiminoCare! Sandra’s commitment to her role as the Laundry Coordinator at Mills Estate Villa shows her dedication and passion for her work.

Sandra grew up in Mazatlan, Mexico, and came to the U.S. in 1988. Family is the most important part of Sandra’s life. Sandra has one daughter, who was quite young when she  first began working at Mills Estate Villa. She grew up  knowing all of  Sandra’s colleagues and friends from her frequent visits to the community, and when she was older she started  working as a caregiver at Mills Estate Villa for five years. Mark Cimino, CEO, shared “We have many dedicated members on our team, and it’s a joy when their children, whom we have watched grow  up alongside their parents, also join our team. We are truly blessed.”

Often described as hardworking by her coworkers and peers, Sandra regularly helps in other departments such as in the kitchen and with housekeeping. Working beside her daughter and  helping the residents has inspired Sandra to work hard for the last 25 years.  Delia Montano, Executive Director of Mills Estate VIlla, says, “Sandra is a hard worker, helping other departments when needed and without question. She is a beautiful friend”.

Sandra is grateful  to work at such a caring community. The Cimino family are the reason she has worked here so long- she feels a part of their family.  Sandra shared, “Family is the most important thing, and when your work becomes like family, it feels like home”.

In her spare time, you can find Sandra at her church, shopping and cooking for her family. She loves spending time with her two grandchildren, aged fourteen and seven. The highlight of her day is seeing her grandchildren. She loves being a grandma and spoiling them!
