Our Portola Gardens community has a new executive director in Jeffrey Dillon. Considered a visionary in senior living services, Jeffrey has been studying the consumer-resident, marketplace-community and has developed ideas and ways to deliver successful aging programs to the next generation of senior living consumers, the baby-boomers.
We are excited to bring Jeffrey on board, not only for his vast experience and expertise but also because he has a big heart for our seniors. His enthusiasm to create a home the excels in caring for our residents matches well with the CiminoCare culture. We are a company founded on the belief in old-world hospitality; to strive to provide a home that inspires the mind and soul of all our residents.
Jeffrey joins Portola Gardens with more than 30 years of experience in the senior service industry. Most recently he spent the past 12 years as a licensed CA RCFE Executive Director. Additionally, he has served as a VP of Marketing and a Regional Operations Director overseeing and managing several CCRC, IL, AL, ALZ start-ups and operating communities. Jeffrey has worked for California senior housing providers; Eldercare Alliance, Integral Senior Living, Carlton Senior Living, The Masonic Home and Acacia Creek. He served as CEO of a startup Home Care company completing the circle of his experience from the needs of seniors in their home to senior housing communities.
In 2015 Jeffrey was invited by the United Nations (UNIDO) to serve as an envoy to China for senior services and housing issues; traveling to China on several occasions. In addition, he works with the NFL Player Care Foundation in advising retired players on the best course of care and housing for aging issues.
Jeffrey’s experience, coupled with his passion for excellence in senior care, makes him an ideal match for not only the community, but as a valued member of our CiminoCare family. Welcome aboard Jeffrey!
