Updates Provided by the Department of Health Care Services
We would like to share some pertinent updates with regard to recent Assisted Living Waiver (ALW) program payment rate corrections that have been scheduled. Please see the relevant information below that we are sharing on behalf of the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS).
Conduent will be processing the Erroneous Payment Correction (EPC) to make the adjustments to claims that were underpaid between January 1, 2017 and April 28, 2017 (when the 2017 rates were implemented).
Providers should start to see the adjustments on their Remittance Advice Details (RAD) forms beginning December 14, 2017, with RAD code 0893: Retroactive rate adjustment.
We will also be sending you all more information about the increased ALW rates for 2018 shortly, so please be on the lookout for that correspondence from the team at CiminoCare!
