CiminoCare Staff, Families, Friends, (and Dogs!) Raised Awareness for Alzheimer’s in San Francisco, Sacramento and Stockton
CiminoCare staff, families and friends were out raising awareness and funds at the 2017 Walk to End Alzheimer’s participating in three cities this year – San Francisco on September 10th, Sacramento on September 24th and Stockton on October 14th!
Our teams had a great time participating in the Walk and passing out #EndAlz bandanas to all the dogs in attendance! We were quite inspired joining the almost 3,000 walkers
in San Francisco, more than 2,700 walkers in Sacramento and nearly 500 walkers in Stockton coming together for one purpose – to find a cure to end Alzheimer’s.
Our CiminoCare Angels Burlingame Team raised $2,220 to help advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association. A special shout out to Robbin Mackey, who walked in honor of her mother Joyce, raising more than $1,500. It’s not too late to give, donations will continue to be accepted through December 31st. We also want to recognize Jerry and Jeff who have been Walking to End Alzheimer’s for 15 years in honor of their Mother and Aunt, Suzie. [Picture of Jerry and Jeff]
CiminoCare is so proud to support the Alzheimer’s Association by participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. The work they do from their 24/7 Helpline, support groups, education programs for family and professional staff to advocacy and funding research is so vital in supporting those touched by Alzheimer’s and to advancing a cure for this devastating disease.
